Solahart's roof mounted tank systems save space at ground level and their elegant simplicity make them efficient and reliable. The Solahart 181L Series is a roof mounted, open circuit solar water heater specifically designed to provide economical service in medium to high solar gain areas. The smaller volume of the 181L makes it ideal for applications where low volumes of solar hot water are required, e.g. small units or retirees.

The Solahart L Series is a roof mounted, open circuit solar water heater specifically designed to provide economical service in medium to high solar gain areas. It is not recommended for use in frost or poor water chemistry areas.
The L Series is ingenious in its simplicity. The black polyester powder coated aluminium absorber collects the sun's heat and transfers it to the water in the 7 risers. Copper is used for the risers for its high thermal conductivity ensuring the maximum amount of heat energy is passed to the water. As the water in the risers is heated, it rises into the tank to be replaced by cooler water from the tank. The solar heated water is then stored ready for use - hot water free from the sun.

The Solahart LCSD Series is a roof mounted, open circuit system, designed to provide higher efficiency for use in low to medium solar gain areas.
The LCS collector’s absorber plate is coated with the Mirotherm® sputtered selective surface. The Mirotherm absorption and anti-reflection layers provide high solar absorption. An infrared reflecting layer ensures low thermal emission, making the most of the available solar radiation.

Key Features
An open circuit solar hot water system has a collector circuit which is directly connected to the potable water in the solar storage tank. Potable water from the solar storage tank circulates through and collects heat gained by the solar collectors and then circulates back into the solar storage tank.
The 302LCSD Series has a ceramic lined tank with a protective anode. The 302LCSD Free Heat offers an extended warranty and features additional protection. The tank is equipped with an electric booster, alternatively an in-line gas booster is available.
